Hi, I’m Darren and I am a professional wedding photographer serving Yorkshire, Lancashire and the North of England. I love my job, what can be better than being invited to photograph fantastic people on the happiest day of their lives. Weddings are fantastic, full of love and laughter. A party every weekend.

I have three lovely ladies in my life who mean the world to me: my life partner Isolde and my daughters Florentina and Redinka. And let’s not forget my ever faithful 16 old dog Earnshaw. I love to travel, I love food and music, but my overwhelming passion is photography. I’ve been lucky enough to be able to turn a hobby into a career.

Style and approach.

My style is a mixture of candid documentary wedding photography and natural wedding portraiture. I love to capture your big day in a natural relaxed way so as to let the real emotion and laughter shine through. Its your wedding day after all and it's really important that you enjoy it to its fullest and not spend too much time posing for the camera. As well as capturing real smiles, real emotion and real moments, its also lovely to spend a little time with the newly weds to shoot a few natural portraits to show how amazing you looked on your wedding day.

Your wedding is important to me, with this in mind I shoot all my weddings with the best Nikon cameras and lenses available. I always bring back-up equipment and memory cards, so no need to worry about technical failures. I am covered by public liability and indemnity insurance as well as employers liability insurance.
